The Iron Temple of Martial Arts, previously The Martial Arts Center, was established in 1996 in Bergen County, New Jersey. Training is focused on self preservation covering a wide array of intense martial arts disciplines geared towards self defense, self awareness and physical conditioning. The development of the mind, body and spirit is paramount in an evolving market of "Mixed Martial Arts".
Our instructors are from law enforcement backgrounds. We have tested our skills on the streets of Paterson, Newark, Jersey City and Irvington utilizing such techniques for submissions and control.

It's time we teach our children to stand strong, to be courageous in adversity yet maintain the warriors heart. They need to learn to look others directly in the eye with confidence while remaining humble and kind. We live in a violent society yet we teach our young to be passive and to avoid confrontation at all costs. We are teaching them to be victims and not peaceful warriors. Give them the tools to succeed. Give them proper discipline, honor and respect for all living creatures. Give them the confidence to stand up for themselves and the awareness to live a full and prosperous life. Give them the gift of Martial Arts!
